Though it’s not necessarily related to literature, it’s worth posting: In the nineties neuroscientist Libet conducted a series of studies which proved that we decide to move 150 milliseconds before we’re consciously aware of it.
What, then, is the role of consciousness? Certainly, these studies challenge Free Will.
