Today, Pages to Pixels introduces the new series, “Poems on Loan.” Each week, a literary journal of fame and repute will lend us a poem to display on the site. Comparable to a popular museum lending out its finest exhibits.
I’m honored to have Sarah Rose Nordgren’s poetry kick off the series; she’s allowed me to display both Possible Names for A Country House, and About the Hammer, which both appeared in the most recent issue of La Petite Zine.
Sarah Rose Nordgren’s poems have appeared recently or are forthcoming in Iowa Review, Pleiades, Quarterly West, Cincinnati Review, Hayden’s Ferry, Verse Daily, and elsewhere. She is the recipient of two Fellowships in poetry from the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown, where she will be returning as second-year Fellow for the 2011-12 season, and is a 2011 Tuition Scholar at the Bread Loaf Writers Conference. She lives in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
